The Little Prince is a book known to everyone around the world, which today is considered a world masterpiece. Antoine de Saint-Exupery, the author to whom we can be grateful to this day for this position.

A world masterpiece

The book The Little Prince has been translated into as many as 270 languages. In Poland, we had the opportunity to read it in our language in 1947. The short but rich content of the book shows us the world through the eyes of a child and many absurdities that accompany us every day and which are not noticed by adults. The masterpiece shows many inadequate, human attitudes, which prove that we are exactly like that, and that the heroes of the book are only a reflection of us.

Still on time

The author of the book, Antoine de Saint-Exupery, may not have realized in writing this short story that it would become part of the world heritage in the future. Saint-Exupery was killed in the battle of 1944 and, in fact, France knows most of his entire literary work. It should be remembered, however, that the little prince made his mark all over the world.

Timeless message

The content of the book and its graphics are largely aimed at children, but it is actually an adult who can understand the author's true message. In every sentence, paragraph and chapter you can feel the problems with which the author himself was struggling. While reading The Little Prince, you can experience criticism of fast life, which is driven only by consumerism. Strange as it may seem, this message fits perfectly in modern times.

Reply to Mein Kampf

The Little Prince published his publication in New York in 1943. Then the chief editor of the American monthly called The Atlantic he said that the book The Little Prince is the best response of Western society to Mein Kampf.
