Construction in Norway is getting better and better. People who work in the construction space can count on a higher and higher rate. Recently (in April 1 to be exact), employees of construction companies can count on a higher hourly wage. Do you earn enough money? What to do if you did not get a raise and your earnings do not meet current regulations and industry standards? Read the text!

Higher hourly wage in the construction industry!

The representatives of the Norwegian trade unions came to an agreement with the representatives of the employers and the wage increases became a fact. An employer cannot give an employee less than the official minimum wage. The regulation came into force on April 1, but in some companies the change process may take several weeks or months.

Applicable rates - how does it work in practice?

Skilled workers: 209, 80 NOK (previously NOK 203,80);

Unskilled workers with no industry experience: 188, 40 NOK (previously NOK 183,10);

Qualified employees with a minimum of one year of experience in the industry: 196,50 NOK (previously NOK 191);

Employees under 18 years of age: 126,50 NOK (previously 122,90 NOK).
