Some people are afraid of this organ, others are happy to hear this name because it helps them a lot. Today in our conversation we touched on all the important issues related to contact with Barnevernet representatives. As it turns out, it is worth staying calm and not showing aggression or reluctance. It always has the opposite effect. Many people call this institution "child thieves", "evil incarnate". Is this really the case? In addition to the conversation in our studio, we also present a recording of the conversation with the Minister of Children, Equality and Integration. Barnevernet in Norway - how does it work?
The main assumption of Barnevernet is to help children and care for their well-being. Each possible application must be checked and thoroughly verified. That's the law. However, if the representatives of the center do not notice any disturbing behavior in the family - further activities are of course suspended. What to avoid when visiting the center employees? Certainly aggressive behavior. We Slavs are recognized by some Norwegians as an emotionally expansive and quarrelsome nation. Therefore, nervous behavior can only make our situation more difficult. Let's use a method, common sense and prudence.
What myths arose around Barnevernet?
Barnevernet in Norway. It is an institution that causes anxiety and fear. Many people say that this authority is even waiting for families. First of all, on the families of emigrants. Child thieves, blonde child hunters ... a lot of such myths have already been created. But let's not get crazy!
