Nav received 113 applications for unemployment benefits in less than a week
The new law works, but Nav doesn't. We have to be patient.
On Tuesday 17 March, Nav received 59 applications for redundancy unemployment benefits. Another 900 applications for ordinary unemployment benefits, Nav confirms in a press release.
In the past six days, Nav has received a total of 113 applications for unemployment benefits, of which 500 are redundancies and 105 are regular unemployment benefits.

Hub states that the increase in the number of applications will lead to a longer turnaround time.
- We mobilized all available resources to handle the increase in the number of cases. This is our most important challenge in this crisis, says Sigrun Vågeng, director of Labor and Social Services.
