Following the Bergen outbreak, tighter infection control measures affect 39 jobs in companies that must now close, says main organization Virke.

Virke data shows that 180 people work in commerce and services in municipalities currently affected by strict measures infection control.

Of these, 39 work in companies that must remain closed, and 000 of them are unable to work from their home offices.

Need for action

On Sunday morning, the municipality of Bergen announced tougher measures in the wake of the virus mutation outbreaks. Both Bergen and Kvam and Ulvik are introducing emergency measures.

It tightens the restrictions

Among other things, the alarm is raised to the red level for schools and kindergartens, and upper secondary schools are receiving digital instruction. All teaching at universities must also be digital.

The tightening also applies to sports, recreation and out-of-home events.

All stores except grocery stores, kiosks, health food and pharmacies will be closed.

Schools and kindergartens:
In kindergartens, primary and lower secondary schools, primary and lower secondary schools, the red level was increased in accordance with the national model of restriction signaling. The municipal infection control authority may decide to close schools and kindergartens if preparation for red levels is necessary or if the contamination situation so requires.

Upper secondary school:

- Other public places and businesses that host cultural, entertainment or recreational activities that gather people indoors.

The measures apply to Alver, Askøy, Bjørnafjorden, Eidfjord, Osterøy, Samnanger, Ullensvang, Vaksdal, Voss and Øygarden.

• Sports and recreational activities for children and adolescents under the age of 20 are allowed, but it is not allowed to organize sports activities for adults or recreational activities for adults, such as organized exercises, training and rehearsals for choir and theater.

• Events are allowed according to national regulations.
