Great interest in the report for the parliament

In autumn 2020, the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy began working on a report for the parliament. The topic is about long-term value creation from Norwegian energy resources. The ministry encouraged written comments on the work on this report. To date, 154 comments and information have been submitted. This breaks down into the overall contribution to the report and the work on a new roadmap for hydrogen.

The Norwegian government is preparing a report for the Storting (Norwegian Parliament). We have received feedback from many different stakeholders

- I am pleased with the great commitment to work on the report on long-term value creation from Norwegian energy resources. We have received feedback from many different stakeholders and will take them into account in the further work on the report for the Storting, says Minister Tina Bru (H).

Visibility of the industrial potential Norwegian energy resources

The aim of this report is to highlight the industrial potential Norwegian energy resources as the basis for future income and jobs. It will cover, among others, offshore wind energy, hydrogen, CCS (carbon capture and storage), seabed mineral extraction, the oil industry and hydropower. The plan is to present this report in spring 2021.
