. Jarosław Gowin, in a special interview, calculated the length of Poland's lockdown and how the country intends to compensate for the resulting budget losses. Jarosław Gowin was an InBusiness guest at Business Insider Polska. He talked about the proposed changes that are intended to support the economy. What ideas did he present?

Poland: lockdawn - how to improve the country's economic condition ...?

Jarosław Gowin in a special interview assured that it might be helpful to raise the levy towards the best-off, so that it does not affect the middle class:

“Today in Poland we are dealing with a paradoxical situation, i.e. a regressive tax. The more you earn, the less tax you pay. In my opinion, this is not a favorable solution, said Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin. - I am ready to agree to a certain, rational increase in the levies for the highest earners, but this cannot be drastic and must only include people who earn a lot. The left wing proposed to raise taxes for people earning 7-8 thousand. PLN gross, and this is the middle class in which we should invest. I would definitely be against such a solution, ”said Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Development, Labor and Technology Jarosław Gowin. (source: biznes.wprost.pl).

First of all, we need to reduce the losses ...

During the conversation, Gowin also emphasized how much the country costs each day, each subsequent week of the lockdown. At the same time, he assured that work was still underway on a number of programs aimed at helping to unfreeze the economy. How much is the state losing on lockdays?

“Weekly it is from PLN 2 to 3 billion. The situation is still slightly better than last year. At that time, it was 4 billion per week. Unfortunately, this means that, first of all, Poland is getting impoverished, and secondly, it is indebted. " - continued Jarosław Gowin in the interview.

Poland: Lockdawn continues. At the same time, it is worth noting that today's statistics of morbidity and deaths due to the coronavirus give us some hope. The third wave of the pandemic is said to be slowly fading away and quieting down. However, we still need to be careful. Bearing in mind your own health and that of your loved ones.
