Thanks to cooperation with the EU, Norway will gain access to 1 million additional doses of vaccines from Moderna. The possibility of receiving this additional batch of vaccines is due to the fact that Poland does not need them

Adults will be fully vaccinated during the first two weeks of September

– For this shipment, all adults over 18 will be fully vaccinated within the first two weeks of September. This means that Norway can return to a more normal life sooner everyday, says Prime Minister Erna Solberg. The doses administered are in addition to the total of 358 doses that Norway received in July, including: from Lithuania, Bulgaria and Romania. As a result, Norway received more than 000 million additional vaccine doses in a short time.

The National Institute of Public Health will send an updated vaccination calendar today

Additional doses are expected to reach Norway as early as next week. The distribution process to municipalities across Norway will start from week 34. The National Institute of Public Health will send today an updated vaccination calendar and information on additional doses. Thanks to cooperation with Poland, we will now have significant progress in the Norwegian vaccination program. These doses are part of the EU's joint procurement program.
