In the list below you will find an overview of the many different situations and the rules that apply to them. If you are traveling with several people, for example children, you need to check what rules apply to each person in the traveling group.
Fully vaccinated
If you were fully vaccinated or you have had COVID-19 in the last six months (counts from test date) and you can document it valid certificate , you are fired quarantine travel. You also don't need to fill out the registration form for arrivals or do a border test.
Vaccinated with one dose
There are still some restrictions on who is allowed to enter Norway. This also applies to people who have received the first dose of the vaccine. You can find an overview of who is affected in UDI. You must document valid certificate that you took one dose of the vaccine more than three weeks ago.
Minors
If you are a citizen of or live in a red, dark red or purple country or area and are traveling from that country or area, you may travel to Norway. There are still some restrictions on who is allowed to enter Norway from a gray country or area. This also applies to minors. Changes to the rules for entering Norway. Trip abroad
If you intend to travel abroad, you have to find out for yourself what applies to the country you are going to travel to and what kind of documents this country requires. You should also check what documentation the airline, railroad or ferry company you are traveling with requires.
Countries and airlines may have different requirements for people entering the country. Some countries require vaccinations. Other countries require you to take the test within the last 24, 48, or 72 hours before arriving in the country.
Registration form on arrivals to Norway
Travelers from countries and areas colored in red, dark red, purple and gray must generally complete a registration form for entry before arriving in Norway. The claim includes the exceptions listed below.
The form must be completed digitally. Upon completion of registration, you will receive a receipt which will be shown to the police upon arrival. Registration cannot be completed earlier than 72 hours before entering Norway.
