The situation in Ethiopia is complicated

Ethiopian authorities declared a state of emergency on November 2. The situation in the country is complicated and unpredictable. Therefore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Norway warns against travel to this country. In addition to discouraging all travel to Ethiopia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is encouraging Norwegian citizens to leave the country.

The state of emergency and military operations in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa airport is still open. The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends it Norwegian citizens if possible, traveling on commercial flights.
