A detached house in Jessheim, Ullensaker County, was completely destroyed in a fire on Monday night. The flames are now under control and the fire department is putting out the fire.
They are expected to run all night until Tuesday morning, says NTB operations manager Terje Marstad in the eastern police district.

He adds that the place of the fire will be examined after the fire brigade has finished its extinguishing action.
At 20.17:XNUMX p.m Monday evening the police were notified about the fire. All eight residents of the house, who belonged to the same family, escaped unharmed. Currently, they are dealt with by the municipal crisis team.
Initially, a danger of the fire spreading was reported, and in connection with Seven residents of four were also evacuated due to the fire nearby houses. At 22.05:XNUMX p.m. the threat had passed and they could return to their homes.
Marstad says that a single-family house that has burned down cannot be saved.
