It is now cooler and calmer in Vestland, Møre og Romsdal and Trøndelag. "No new incidents were reported to the NVE overnight, but we will be following the situation closely over the weekend," says Brigt Samdal, director of the Landslides and Waterways department.

Gyda is over, it is colder and calmer

There is still a lot of water in the watercourses in the affected areas, but the water has stopped rising.

"Although the weather has calmed down and the flood situation has improved, there is still a danger of landslides of all kinds," says Samdal. That is why we follow this situation further and help municipalities if necessary.

In six municipalities, people have been evacuated due to landslides or floods, and NVE monitors them separately.

We ask people to follow the weather forecasts

- There is more stormy weather information in the coming days, so we ask people to follow the weather forecasts and varsom.no be up to date, concludes Samdal.
