Norway and Denmark cooperate in the donation of artillery ammunition.

– Ukraine badly needs artillery ammunition, and we give as much as we can. For the security of Europe and Norway, it is important that Ukraine manages to resist the Russian attack. Norway has made a big contribution to Ukraine until 2022 and will continue to support it in the coming years, says Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram.

– Ukrainians still have a great and urgent need for ammunition to fight for freedom against Russia. Denmark, along with other EU and NATO countries, is in the process of accepting a number of different military contributions. An important example of this is our cooperation with Norway, says Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.

Norway will supply the missiles themselves, while Denmark will supply them with a propellant charge and other necessary components. Ukraine will be able to use artillery shells for 19 Caesar self-propelled howitzers donated by Denmark

Artillery shells are taken from the warehouses of the Norwegian Armed Forces. Consequences for national preparedness were assessed. This is not the only support for Ukraine from Norway. Norway had previously donated a total of 20 artillery shells.
