The goal is stronger coordination and development of holistic policies across the public and private sectors.

– Democratic control over the digitization of society is important for this government. Norway is already one of the most digitized countries in the world, but there are still huge opportunities for efficiency, value creation and simplification in both the public sector, business and society at large. At the same time, there are serious threats to privacy, influence campaigns, addiction and criminal activity. The aim of the information meeting is, among other things, to hear important points of view from entities from the world of business, the public sector, academia and civil society.

The Ministry of Territorial and District Government is interested in, among others:

  • Expectations towards the strategy
  • Are there driving forces and trends that will impact society at large that the strategy should address?
  • What are the most important opportunities and challenges brought by digitalization?
  • How can the government contribute to solving these problems through this strategy?
