Teachers' Day is the day on which we express our sincerest thanks to those who play one of the most important and responsible roles in society. It is teachers, next to parents, who have a huge impact on shaping the worldview of the young generation. Their work is not only difficult, but also extremely important for the future of our society.
One of the key features of this profession is the social trust that teachers enjoy. It is this trust that highlights the enormous responsibility that rests on their shoulders. Teachers not only impart knowledge and skills, but also shape characters and help young people develop as individuals. Therefore, their role cannot be overestimated.
On October 14, we celebrate all teachers' day. On this day, it is worth emphasizing the importance of teachers working with Polish children. This is often an exceptionally difficult task, because they often meet with students who know only little Polish. However, these teachers are a key element in the process of transmitting the Polish language and culture to young generations who live outside Poland.

The stories of many people, both the more famous ones and ordinary residents of Polish communities around the world, testify to the enormous importance of Polish schools run by various organizations and associations. It was in these institutions that they were taught their native language and the culture of their ancestors. Thanks to this, they can now freely maintain contact with their family Poland and feel like "full" Poles, despite living abroad.
On Teachers' Day, we would like to express our great gratitude for the difficult work and commitment of teachers who, with passion and dedication, introduce their students to the secrets of Polish knowledge and culture. Their perseverance and concern for students are invaluable. However, the most valuable reward for teachers is certainly the memory of students, who gain from them not only skills, but also values and memories that will last a lifetime.
Today we would like to thank all teachers for their work, dedication and for helping young people find their cultural and linguistic identity. Thanks to them, our society has a chance to preserve its identity and heritage, and the young generation can cultivate their roots and be proud of their Polishness, wherever they are in the world.
