The Norwegian Armed Forces are conducting operations in Oslo

The Armed Forces are currently conducting Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT) training to train new instructors.

The training is comprehensive and covers realistic activities in environments very relevant to conflict situations that occur in several places around the world.

Students have already reached the part of the course where they interact with other agencies in Oslo, including the police and city authorities, through the fire brigade and the railway.

Fighting the enemy in an urban environment

The aim of the subject is, among other things, to enable students to fight enemies in all situations that may arise in an urban environment. They'll go through everything from close quarters combat, arrests and prisoner handling, dark city combat drills, depot drills subway near Oslo.

City authorities and rescue services also participate in the course. Collaborating with them in total defense is a decisive factor for success in crisis and war situations in urban environments. The course will be attended by all types of participants Norwegian Armed Forces and other emergency services, police, etc.

All activities will take place on November 9 in the Oslo municipality.
