The award ceremony of the Nobel Peace Prize awarded by the Norwegian Nobel Committee will take place in Oslo. The award ceremony itself takes place on the day of Nobel's death, December 10. The ceremony takes place at Oslo City Hall, and the award is accompanied by a number of events. The Nobel Peace Prize attracts many guests whose profile requires certain security measures.

– When we also find ourselves in a serious security policy situation, we see the need to implement measures related to our border control, says Aune.

In addition to the increased collection of information that forms the basis for targeted surveillance, this gives the police the ability to respond more quickly if the situation changes over a given period.
