NOK 400 million in subsidies for the development of high-speed Internet
- Access to high-speed Internet is important when we need to interact with society, when we need to work or when we need to enjoy our free time. Broadband holds the country together and is crucial for settlement and employment. This award is a very important contribution, says Minister of Digitization and Administration Karianne Tung.
The grant will likely make it available high-speed connection broadband from 5 to 000 households.
Nordland comes out the best
This year, Vestfold and Telemark (collectively), Agder and Nordland will receive the largest percentage increases in broadband support. – To implement local projects faster, we have also removed the requirement for co-financing by city authorities when expanding broadband connections at state support.
