Today, April 22, a meeting of representatives of the state and the main trade unions was held to start wage settlements in the state. The settlement deadline is midnight on April 30.

Payroll settlements in the state

This year it happened main agreement, in which the parties in the country negotiate financial issues and all elements of the main tariff agreements.

– The state enters these negotiations with demands to conclude a main tariff agreement for the state tariff area. This is important to prevent unintentional events differences in pay employees in the same positions in the state. It is also important for promoting good pay policy locally in companies and for the entire country. Moreover, I hope that the parties will work out solutions within the economic framework negotiated on the front line, says Minister of Digitization and Administration Karianne Tung.

State Human Resources Director Gisle Norheim is leading negotiations on behalf of the state. He met today with representatives of the main associations Akademikerne, LO Stat, Unio and YS Stat.
