When will you receive the tax assessment notice?
Tax offices process tax returns on an ongoing basis. As soon as it is ready, the tax assessment will be available at Altinn or sent to you. You can also send a copy of your tax assessment notice to your digital mailbox (Digipost or e-Box) directly from Altinn.
Tax refund in Norway, when is the date?
Unfortunately, there is no exact date on which you will receive a tax assessment notice, even if you go to or call the tax office.
The first group, which is the most electronic, receives a tax assessment notice on June 20.
Next the deal is in August.
Next settlements last until October 23.

Electronic users receive a notification by email or SMS when their tax assessment notice is available from Altinn. If you have an outstanding tax refund, it will be refunded to you within three weeks from the date shown in the upper right corner of your tax assessment notice.
If you filed your tax return on paper, you will receive a tax assessment notice in August at the earliest.
