ON HOT!

Krzysztof Frymarkevich a story about how a Polish rapper living in exile goes to the Norwegian edition of the program I have a talent and makes an incredible fuss….

You are not the first Pole in... Norwegian I have talent, someone has already paved the way before you.

Yes, that's right - I'm not the first. Before me, in previous years, Lyudmila performed with Orestes and a fitness group Jumping Frog Oslo.

Have you thought about the decision for a long time? Some internal conflict had preceded this; after all, rappers generally boycott this kind of TV show?

It was some strange impulse; I used to sit in front of a computer, browsing social media and saw an invitation to the Norwegian edition of Mam talent. I was after two beers, which certainly gave me energy and courage, haha! I decided I had absolutely nothing to lose. I had put so much energy, money and heart into my work that the risk of participating in the program itself was relatively small. But I had doubts after I received an invitation to pre-casting ... I thought, “… what have I done? After all, this is not welcome in the hip-hop environment…. ”. So I asked my friends and fans on my fanpage - the absolute majority advised me to participate in the program. I went to pre-casting totally unprepared… But the feedback was good, I got the green light on what I was doing and asked if I had any more material with which I could possibly come to the casting in front of the jury and the audience.

All the possibilities, dreams and desires have come true - you have been invited to the casting, which we will all be able to see on Norwegian television in a moment. But with the participation itself, you also had fun adventures; changed and thus the day of your participation was accelerated.

Yes! On Thursday I got a call asking if I could come on Saturday, where I was originally only supposed to perform on Tuesday. And the best thing was that, in order to build my own small Polish audience, I invited my friends from the country who had already booked tickets for Tuesday! It was logistically difficult to unscrew it and thus I was left without this support ... And what is worse - despite the fact that I have played a lot of concerts in my whole life, I have never been so exorbitantly stressed. And even in spite of the cool energy brought by contact with other participants on the backstage, I was terrified and I hardly remember my performance at all, hahah! I went to the program with a bilingual piece, which I had a lot of fun with. I guess I did my job 100% but in the back of my head I still wonder what people will say, how will they react to what happened on the show .... ???

I understand that I can't drag your tongue on "what happened on the show"?

Indeed, I can't tell you about the results of this competition, but it's worth spending Friday 45 minutes on getting to know the details, hahah!

Did you dedicate this performance to someone special?

Let me tell you that, first of all, it was testing my skills in front of myself. But standing in the corridor and waiting for my turn, where my loved ones were not allowed in with me, I recalled my blessed friend with whom I started this musical adventure ... so that everything goes my way ”. Yes, it was also a nod to what we did together.

And very hypothetically; if it turns out that positive opinions will appear and you will move on, are you afraid of confronting the Norwegian audience?

By no means, haha! The only thing I'm afraid of is learning how to get on the stage and a kind of openness. Because, you know, when I play a concert in front of Poles, I feel 100% of this audience. And winding up for Norwegians there is always this initial blockage; because I was not born here, because my language is not perfect ...

Will Frymarkiewicz (hypothetically again :)), if he makes a stunning career in Norwegian media, start writing in Norwegian?

Hahaha, you drill down pretty well! But yes, the bar should be raised, so if there is such a possibility, I would like to surprise the Polish and Norwegian audience more than once. So why not?

The stress in these situations is always similar, but I wonder if you would be less excited in front of the Polish audience?

Ooooh, I think it would be harder for me in front of the Polish audience. Here, even despite some difficulties with winding in two languages; native and Norwegian, which I do not fully know despite fluency in communicating and nuances, it was an experiment and a lot of fun for me. You know, I am talking about the problems related to the life of a good immigrant - could Polish audiences show equally strong empathy on this subject? Oh no! Because it's not their problems, not their everyday life.

We will return to the motives that pushed you to create the "émigré rap" in the second part of our conversation, right after the broadcast of Friday's program - today I also want to ask you for a handful of details about the program itself; when do we sit down in front of the televisions and do you already know in which part of the program we will be able to see you?

The program starts at 20:20 PM on Friday 🙂 I don't know the details of editing, so it will also be a mystery to me which, in turn, I will be a participant.

Krzysztof Frymarkiewicz – Polish rapper in Norway – will you invite everyone following your career, as well as those who may be reading about you for the first time at this moment, to the Norske Talenter program with your participation?

With the greatest pleasure! I invite everyone to check what happened to the Polish rapper in front of the Norwegian jury 🙂 I guarantee a lot of fun! I also hope that you will all be proud of the fact that you are Polish, and you will consider my performance worthy of representing Poland abroad!
