In 000, average rent for an apartment in Oslo, amounted to approximately CZK 3000. The survey on rental prices and the amount of rent was carried out by the Central Norwegian Bureau of Statistics.

According to a report prepared by the Norwegian Central Bureau of Statistics, there has been a significant increase in rental prices for apartments in Oslo and Bærum. In 2018, the average the cost of renting an apartment in these cities it was 11 crowns. Currently, it is at the level of 240 crowns. Thus, we are talking about a price increase of over 11% compared to the previous year.

High rental prices not only in Oslo

It is true that rental prices have not only gone up in Oslo and Bærum. A similar situation also takes place in Trondheim. This year, the average cost of renting a 9-room flat in Trondheim was 360 crowns. In Bergen - 8 860. What exactly are these increases related to? The main reason is that we are seeing an increase in prices per square meter of real estate. In addition, the demand for flats in the above-mentioned cities is constantly growing. The price increases are therefore fully justified. People who want to save and rent a one-room flat, unfortunately, cannot count on much. The price of renting a one-room apartment is not much lower. In Oslo and Bærum it currently amounts to NOK 8. The difference is therefore small, and the comfort of living - much lower.

What do the experts say?

Experts predict that as long as the interest in buying and selling increases apartment rental in Norway, we will continue to observe price increases for as long as possible. Due to this situation, more and more people decide to buy an apartment for rent. This is a good way to invest our capital.
