Minister of Health and Welfare Bent Høie

changes

- Although a lot has changed since the 80s, prejudice and shame still make it difficult to live with HIV. Therefore, we must continue to work on more openness and on more knowledge about it. My thoughts on World AIDS Day are directed to all people living with HIV and AIDS and their loved ones, says Høie.

World Fighting Day We have been celebrating AIDS since 1988, thanks to the initiative of the World Health Organization (WHO).

How many sick are there?

AIDS is a disease called acquired immunodeficiency, abbreviated to AIDS.
