Røros and Dovrebanen closed from Monday morning due to extreme rainfall warning.
From Monday, August 7, a red level warning was issued for extreme weather conditions. For safety reasons, Bane NOR is implementing a red alert on the Røros and Dovre lines on the Hamar-Støren section, as well as on the Rauma line. This means that the sections are closed.
Bane NOR also increases readiness in several sections and closely monitors the weather. Individual track sections may be closed at short notice.
