On Monday, Telemark high schools will be closed and students will be able to learn digitally instead.

The reason is the change in weather and demanding driving conditions. Already Akershus, Buskerud and Østfold announced that upper secondary schools would be closed on Monday.

Khrono University in the Southeast Norway also canceled all mandatory activities on Monday activities on campuses.

The Meteorological Institute issued warning about slippery roads in eastern Norway and in some parts of Agder. On the same ones warnings were also issued in the areas floods.

– On snowy and icy roads should be expected mild weather and rain. This is expected to create very significant accessibility challenges. Consider whether you need to travel - we read in the appeal of meteorologists.
