Lack of sufficient medical staff is not only a nuisance, but generally low efficiency health service. This is the danger of overworking the doctors themselves. As it turns out, in Poland it is on average 3104 patients per year on one doctor. That's an average of over 8 people a day, assuming that the doctor works 365 days a year. It is worse only in Slovakia (3311 patients) and Hungary (3457 patients).
