Norway-Tragedy in Kongsberg 5 fatalities

Police confirm five people were killed in the attack in Kongsberg on Wednesday night. Two people are injured, including a policeman who was not at work.

Øyvind Aas, Buskerud Police Operations Manager, said this at a press conference at 23.15:XNUMX PM Wednesday night.

- There are five killed and two wounded. One of the victims is a policeman who has been to the store during his spare time, says Aas, who adds that relatives of the killed and injured have been notified.

The police do not provide information about the age and gender of the dead, they only say that residents of the surrounding area places of tragedy.
- It cannot be determined at this stage whether there is a link between the perpetrator and the victims. This will be investigated in an investigation, reports Aas.

The information also states that the police fired warning shots before the arrest.
