If in the new year 2024 you want to switch to a monthly invoice for municipal fees and real estate tax, you must order it as soon as possible - no later than January 20.
The commune introduced a system of monthly invoices for water, sewage, garbage collection and real estate fees almost three years ago.
With approximately 46 housing units currently in the Stavanger, 5 decided to switch from semi-annual to monthly invoices. Chief Financial Officer Kjartan Møller believes that more difficult economic times are ahead.

The next date is January 20, 2024.
– Over the last two months, just over 1200 more have switched to a monthly invoice. This number continues to grow and we believe that as the next deadline approaches, there may be even more, he says.
So the next date is the 20th January 2024. If you want to switch from semi-annual settlement to monthly, you can do it on Min side and then it will apply from the new year.

Exception
There are a number of residential premises in the commune that are not covered by the monthly invoice system.
You cannot order a monthly invoice if you have not read the water meter, you are part of a housing cooperative or you live in a place where settlements are based on the number of waste emptyings.

The “My side” self-service solution will become increasingly important in the coming years.
