The expected processing time is defined as the period from the submission of the application until the decision is issued. Decision Appeals
Each applicant has the right to appeal against a negative NAV decision. In this case, the application will be reconsidered. It is an instance whose decision is final from the point of view of Norwegian law.

NAV also informs that in matters related to the payment of arrears, the government is the party that informs about the time when the application will be considered. New jobs, more efficient operation
As reported in May this year, the Norwegian government noticed problems with the efficiency of NAV operation. On May 15, the revised state budget was presented, which included, inter alia, increasing the number of employees who will serve only employers. A total of NOK 12,6 million has been allocated for the purposes of better organization of the office's work, which should contribute to the fact that NAV's processing time will be shorter than it is now.
