First of all, let's remember the key point - our professional résumé is a response to a job advertisement. So let's carefully review such an advertisement so as not to commit misstep right at the beginning.

It happens that the employer puts the following information in the advertisement: "CV med bilde (...)" (CV with photo), which means, that CV without photo will be rejected without reading its content first. The requirement to place photos in the CV applies primarily to positions related to direct contact with the client, beneficiary, ward, etc.
Photo in CV in Norway - what should it be?
When you decide to insert photos, it is good to use a photography that will be our advantage. It doesn't have to be an ID photo taken by a professional photographer. Taking advantage of technological developments, you can use an ordinary phone with a built-in camera.
