The prevailing storm literally blew the bus off the E39 road, which will be closed today. The bus traveled between Stavanger and Kristiansand. As a consequence of the whole event, fortunately, no one was hurt.
An accident on E39
The incident took place on Sunday afternoon in Bjerkreim, Rogoland. It was here that the prevailing weather conditions led to the fact that the bus and passengers left the road. Although the called road services arrived at the scene a moment after the incident, the driver and passengers managed to get out of the vehicle on their own. Although the picture of the accident did not look very optimistic, no one was hurt.

Bad road conditions

Cold winter has come
From around Trøndelag and to the north, the weather is characterized by cold, arctic air. In the inner layers, the temperature drops to minus 35 degrees below zero. In addition, the weather is accompanied by strong sea winds coming from the shore and the coast. Heavy snowfall is expected tomorrow in Lofoten and Vesterålen. Meteorologists and road services warn of dangerous road conditions caused by the current weather. The storm creates local avalanche threats and there is a danger of naturally induced landslides.
