The full retirement pension is paid to persons aged 67 and over.
In Norway, it is also possible to take early retirement after reaching the age of 62, but then the benefit is significantly reduced.
The condition for receiving a pension is also a minimum period of 3 years of membership in the Norwegian pension system. The later you decide to retire, the higher the benefit will be. You can work from the age of 13 to 75 for retirement.
The amount of the benefit is calculated an individual matter depending on the length of membership in the pension system, age, contributions from all jobs and all countries in which you worked after the age of 16, additional private and employer contributions, marital status and family situation.
