The situation will not change until 2030. It points to two factors that will be decisive in terms of the growing demand for new drivers among urban carriers.

Age of current drivers
Jon H. Stordrange cites age as the main reason already employed drivers. For this reason, many current employees will retire each year, creating a vacant position. Carriers will look for their successors.
