Dr. Magdalena Ligor from the Faculty of Chemistry of the Nicolaus Copernicus University claims, as we can read in Gazeta Wyborcza, that Poles eat the best bread in Europe.
Why bread from the bakery and not from the store?
Currently, we often buy bread in chain stores, which, however, is not as high-quality as bread baked using the traditional method. It happens that the bread available in the store differs in taste from the one baked with real sourdough, which has stood out and is fully ready to be used in a recipe. Nowadays, the consumer can quickly find out that it is not real Polish bread. How to know the difference? Unfortunately, we do not have the ingredients on the bread, but our taste buds will tell us everything. It should also be mentioned that bread available in stores is often baked without a few important elements that determine the end result of their quality.
