Inadequate skills

When the plane crashed in Hamar last year, there were many rumors surrounding the incident regarding the pilot's lack of appropriate predispositions to operate the plane. A year after the disaster, it turns out that, according to the commission that examined all the circumstances of the accident, the pilot did not have the appropriate skills running this type of small planes. The latest report states that before the machine fell to the ground and crashed, it rose several times and ultimately fell from a height of 400 meters.

Commission suggests new rules

After a detailed analysis of last year's accident that killed two people, the committee suggests introducing new rules. First of all, they want to introduce a change consisting in the fact that a person who undergoes training in operating this type of small aircraft will have to fly a specific number of hours under the care of another experienced pilot. It is reported that the man who died in Hamar a year ago was driving the plane with only 4 hours of experience in operating it. In addition, there was no relevant manual on board the machine. Currently, in the annual inspection of this type of aircraft, there is no provision that would impose the obligation to have a full manual on board the aircraft. The Commission believes that this should be changed as soon as possible.
