However, according to the latest research, this did not translate into the success of a specific company. Higher executive compensation did not produce better performance or higher profits. As it turns out, contrary to appearances, Scandinavian management is the worst paid in Europe. What's more, Scandinavian companies that want to continue to enjoy the trust of their customers and at the same time have the best specialists at their disposal must change their company policy and approach to remuneration. We are taking a closer look at this matter!

Higher executive wages - good times for managers are passing.

Firms that do better no longer pay very high per diems and bonuses to their managers. This is evident in studies conducted on over 900 companies in 15 European countries at the Vlerick Business School in Belgium. The school has its own management payroll research center. There has recently been a growing international debate on management remuneration. In recent years, several highly paid executives, especially in the US and UK, have struggled with high levels of criticism.

Higher remuneration for management staff should be directly related to greater responsibility for their actions. A manager who is well paid should take care of the real, noticeable success of the company he represents. Nowadays, in the age of universal information, every director is in the spotlight. Employees are also more aware of their skills and good qualifications, valued in their chosen industry. In addition, we realize that the labor market is constantly changing. Today, an employer who wants to maintain a high reputation The company must also take care of the employee. Guarantee him not only proper social benefits, but also decent remuneration that will motivate him to work.
