On Friday, I'd like to suggest a quick and easy-to-make fish soup. It is possible that for many of us this dish may be associated with an unpleasant smell or with the head of a fish that is swimming in a pot. However, I would like to change your opinion on this subject and present it in a different version. Because the meal we are going to prepare today is a good warming and tasting soup. To prepare it, we only need a fillet of our favorite fish.
Friday soup. Recipe for 4 servings:
- 2 carrots
- 6 dl fish broth
- 2 dl milk
- 2 spoons flour
- 200 g salmon fillet
- 200 g cod fillet
- 1 dl frozen peas
- 1 dl sweet cream
- salt
- pepper
- a handful of fresh chives
Start cooking the soup by boiling the fish stock in a pot. You can get fish broth by mixing 6 dl of water and 2 cubes of ready-made fish stock. In the meantime, cut the carrots into small pieces and add to the boiling broth. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
Then mix the milk and flour in a jar or other container with a screw cap. Shake this mixture well, avoiding lumps as a result. Pour the resulting mixture into the fish stock, stirring constantly. Then cook for about 5 minutes.
At the end, lower the temperature and add the fish in medium-sized pieces and peas. Simmer for 5 minutes. Then add the cream and season with salt and pepper.
When serving the soup, sprinkle it with finely chopped chives.
