is a delicious warm or cold salad made of potatoes and bacon. It can be a delicious addition to smoked meats, dinner, sausages and other grilled dishes, it is also delicious as a salad alone, without any additives.
Salad for Tuesday, recipe for 4 people:
Ingredients:
- 0,7 kg potatoes
- 1/4 season
- 250 grams bacon
- 70 ml apple cider vinegar
- 1,5 spoons sugar
- 1 spoon dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic
- a handful of fresh parsley
- salt and pepper
A method of preparing:
- Wash the potatoes well as they will be served with the skin on, then divide them into even cubes. Boil the potato pieces in lightly salted water until they are soft. After cooking, drain the potatoes and let them cool down.
- Then cut the leeks lengthwise and rinse well with water. Slice the leek and mix with the potatoes that have cooled down.
- Cut the bacon into small cubes and fry it in a hot frying pan until golden brown and until it is crispy.
- Then take the pan off the heat and spread the fried pieces of bacon on kitchen paper to let the fat drip off.
- Mix the cooled fat from the pan with the vinegar, sugar, mustard, salt and pepper. Then heat the resulting sauce and cook for a few minutes. At the end, add the chopped garlic and cook for another minute.
- Pour hot dressing over the potatoes, add crispy bacon and chopped parsley. Mix everything carefully and serve warm or cold.
